A cold exchange is a decentralised unit. This means no one can hack your wallet and no one can blacklist your funds. When the asset enters the cold exchange, it becomes anonymised. When you withdraw the asset, it will be issued in a fresh wallet with a new address.

After you open your account with us, we will issue you one way tickets for each of your assets to enter the cold exchange. Once the asset has received 80 block confirmations, the asset will enter the cold exchange. At this time, the asset will no longer be available on the blockchain. It will be centralised and you will see your balance of tokens on your account page.

This is where SSH differs from all other service providers. We have a three factor authentication system. You open a withdrawal ticket on your account page. When this has been checked and accepted, we will send you a notice of withdrawal to your registered phone number. From your registered phone number, you will be asked to confirm the transaction and then you will be asked to record a video to confirm the transaction. When this has been received, your asset will be released to you. The withdrawal process takes 24 hours to ensure no impropriety is actioned.
